Kavach Cancer Charity and 3D Awards

Hello all! Some news from Laura land (for those of you with nothing better to read this evening!
I have been enjoying some much needed sun in warm South Africa over the last 2 months, spending time with family and friends but there is no rest for the wicked, as they say and I'm privileged to currently be involved with three new short films (currently in pre-production).
Particularly happy to be working again with previous collaborator, director James Edge on an LFS film: 'House of Stone'.

One of my library tracks has also been selected for a promotional video for a very worthwhile Cancer charity in India: Kavach.
They do great work in spreading awareness on the symptoms and treatment of cancer in rural communities.
I am honoured and privileged to work with them.

An update on past work :'Prospero and Ariel' was recently selected for screening at the 'Cinamina' Animation festival in Portugal ; and 'ATM'  has been shortlisted for the Palme-Dewar Scottish Film Festival. Good news on all fronts it seems.

If you have 5 minutes to spare, there is a great little animation on my vimeo channel which I rescored  as a portfolio exercise, be sure to have a listen. It's very cute and rather bombastic at times.

Hope you're all snug and warm inside for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere. To my friends on the East Coast of the US, stay safe!. Lots of love.x
